Campus Electric Vehicle charging station proposal – Seeking Input

Clarkson Electric Vehicle Charging Station Proposal – Google form

We are seeking input on these proposed locations for EV charging stations. Our electricity is sourced from 100% green power (hydro and solar), charging your EV on campus provides you with transportation with NO greenhouse gas emissions.

This is not a final map. We have worked with several stakeholders across campus to identify potential locations and understand where electrical lines would plug into panels. The information you provide will help us to create a final map that can be sent out to contractors for bid.

From NYSERDA’s website: Electric vehicles (EVs) save money and reduce air pollution. Compared to gasoline-powered cars, EVs are more energy efficient and cost about 50 to 70% less to operate per mile. Because New York’s electricity includes clean sources, EVs reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants that cause smog and acid rain. New York State is striving to be ready to accommodate 1 million plug-in electric vehicles by 2025 through Charge NY.
