The Art with Impact organization, whom the Clarkson Counseling Center partnered with earlier this year to offer “Movies for Mental Health,” is presenting the Voices With Impact virtual film festival this week. Each year they issue ten, $5,000 grants to artists around the world to create short films around underrepresented narratives related to mental health. This year, they chose to focus on Black and immigrant mental health. Consider registering to attend one of the many free showings during this week-long series of educational sessions around these topics, which will be led by the filmmakers themselves. If you’d like to learn more about the program / register for any of the premieres and educational sessions, you can check it out here!
