Effective September 3rd, 2021, the travel policy has been updated to include that all University-funded travel and faculty research travel is allowed subject to the following guidelines:
- Vaccinated employees will be permitted for University-Funded Travel, both international and domestic, provided theyseek pre-approval via the Travel Authorization (TA) form.
- All travelers, domestic and international, should continue to follow CDC travel requirements.
- Vaccinated individuals travelling from locations with high COVID transmission (see https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/map-and-travel-notices.html and https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view) are required to get a negative test 3-5 days after travel. During this time when they are awaiting test results, they should be fully masked at all times, and take all precautions on campus.
Personal travel will follow the below guidelines:
· Employees who are not vaccinated will continue to fill out the personal travel form.
· Vaccinated individuals travelling from locations with high COVID transmission (see https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/map-and-travel-notices.html and https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view ) are required to get a negative test 3-5 days after travel. During this time when they are awaiting test results, they should be fully masked at all times, and take all precautions on campus.
· Unvaccinated individuals travelling from locations with high COVID transmission (see https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/map-and-travel-notices.htmland https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#county-view) are required to get a negative test 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine till they receive their test results.
