First library workshop: The Research Rabbit Hole

Dear Clarkson Students,

The Clarkson University Libraries workshops series is kicking off with The research rabbit hole: Making the most of your searches Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 5pm via Zoom

Description: Are you unsure where to start your research? Do you find yourself doing lots of unproductive searches that don’t find the sources you need? In this workshop we will talk about how to make the most of your library research. We’ll look at how to most effectively search Google Scholar and use the library databases.

  • The art of persuasion: Make your sources work for you, Tues. Oct 19 at 5pm
  • Who wrote that? Being wary on the web, Tues. Nov. 2 at 5pm
  • Is it shareworthy? Becoming a more sophisticated social media user, Tues, Nov. 16 at 5pm
