The COVID-19 pandemic continues to create challenges for Clarkson students. Similar to last year, Clarkson has been granted funding to support our students through these hard times. If you are aware of a student struggling financially due to covid, please guide them to reach out for help.
To apply for emergency relief funds, students should complete the Student Emergency Fund Request Form found on the Dean of Students intranet page, under the Commonly Used Forms section. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Emergency Relief Committee.
Clarkson’s Emergency Relief Fund has been used to assist students in need with expenses related to:
- Food insecurity
- Basic needs
- Unexpected travel costs
- Medical bills
- Etc.
While the COVID related hardships are covered, the need is still abundant for non-Covid related hardships. If you would like to help out, please consider a donation to the Student Emergency Relief Fund by making a gift online by clicking here or mailing a check made payable to Clarkson University, with SERF in the memo, and send it to: Development Operations, 8 Clarkson Avenue – Box 5510, Potsdam, NY 13699. Your donation will continue to help those who struggle with food insecurities.
