Semester of Reflection: A Strong Start

Throughout the Spring semester of 2022, The Institute of STEM Education and its Faculty Development Task Force is pleased to present “A Semester of Self-Reflection” – a continuous and asynchronous online workshop to help faculty sharpen their metacognitive skills to improve teaching, design better courses, and support an inclusive classroom. We are thrilled to share that more than fifty enrollees kicked off weekly sessions in January. Participants encouraged one another to experience the power of reflection. Engaging sessions are planned through the end of the term.

Join anytime! If you are curious and want to join the experience, it is not too late. Click below to get started and we look forward to welcoming you!

This experience should be useful to senior faculty seeking to contribute their wealth of knowledge, mid-career faculty who are continuing to refine their instructional strategies, and rising faculty who are actively seeking to improve their teaching.

This flexible, asynchronous experience requires no more than 30 minutes a week – or less and can be completed anytime, at your own pace!
