Summer Research and Project Showcase (RAPS)
Friday, April 22
In part of the Celebration & Recognition of Excellence Weekend (CREW), Sponsored Research Services (SRS) will host the spring Research and Projects Showcase (RAPS) on the morning of Friday April 22, 2022 and the Research & Excellence Awards Ceremony on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 9:30 to 10:30 am.

Deadline to register is Monday April 4, 2022 12:00pm EST.
RAPS is a forum for student presentations on research and independent projects, or other educational activities such as internships, co-ops, and study abroad experiences. Creative projects, designs, business plans, and other activities are welcome. Presentations may be given orally and/or in a poster session. Oral Presentations are short (9-10 minute) presentations. With an additional 3-4 minutes reserved for Q&A. Presenter must bring slides with them and/or log into their Clarkson account to access presentation materials before the start of their assigned session
Poster Presentations are short (3-minute) elevator talks followed by interactive dialog with the public. Presenters are required to stay at their poster for the entire two hour block.
Awards for Best Presentation in each category as well as specialty prizes for sustainability will be announced during the Research & Excellence Awards Ceremony. This event will also feature Clarkson Distinction in Faculty Awards along with fiscal year 2021 Million Dollar Club inductees and Patent Recipients.
Please encourage your students to participate: they can give oral presentations and/or present posters. We hope that you will also attend to support your students and their research. Faculty please consider assisting by serving as a chair and/or judges on event day.
