Commencement 2022!
RSVP and reserve your rental regalia below for this year’s Commencement.
The 2022 Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies will both be held at Cheel Campus Center on Thursday, May 12 at 6p.m. (Graduate) and Saturday, May 14 at 2:30p.m. (Undergraduate).

Thursday, May 12-Graduate Ceremony
5:15 p.m. Doors open to Cheel Arena for all guests
5:30 p.m. Graduates seated in their assigned seating section (no procession)
5:45 p.m. All guests should be seated
5:50 p.m. Stage party and Hooding advisors gather stage left.
5:55 p.m. Stage Party walks onto stage and finds their seats
6 p.m. Commencement Ceremony (Master’s & PhD’s) begins
Immediately after-Reception on Cheel Main Street
Regalia is required for all of the stage party and only the hooding advisors.
If you are attending the Graduate ceremony, but are not part of the stage party or an advisor hooding, you will not be required to wear regalia.
Saturday, May 14-Undergraduate Ceremony
1:15 p.m. – The student procession will form outside on Cheel lawn
1:15 p.m. Doors open to Cheel Arena for disabled guests and their escorts
1:25 p.m. Doors open to Cheel Arena for guests with floor tickets (first come, first serve)
1:35 p.m. Doors open to Cheel Arena for guests with reserved tickets
1:45 p.m. Faculty assemble on the sidewalk closer to Cheel for procession
2:05 p.m. Student, Faculty and Stage Party Procession begins moving
2:25 p.m. Doors open to Cheel Arena concourse area for guests with standing room only tickets
2:30 p.m. Commencement Ceremony begins
Immediately after-Reception in the tent located by Cheel
Regalia is required for all stage party and all faculty for the Undergraduate ceremony.
*Procession details will be sent at the end of April.

You may wear your own or rent a set from the University Bookstore.If you need to rent regalia from the Bookstore, use this link below. Deadline to request Rental Regalia is April 11, 2022. Regalia will be available for pick-up at the University Bookstore starting at the beginning of May during their regular business hours. You are responsible for picking up and returning rented regalia.
Our graduates will be wearing the new Custom Clarkson Green and Gold Regalia!
