As previously announced, a portion of the Science Center (SC) roof will be replaced this summer. The portion extends from the bridge to the CFO office. There will be significant construction noise at the beginning which will gradually taper off. Material will arrive and be set up beginning on Friday, May 20. Work should take approximately two weeks, but is weather dependent.
The area between B H Snell Hall, Woodstock Lodge and the Science Center, pictured below, will be closed down to general traffic so that heavy equipment can be stationed there. Please plan to follow all signage regarding foot traffic in this area. “No exit” signs will be posted on the two doors coming out of the SC on the ground level as supplies will be lifted directly over them. These doors will be available for emergency exiting only. Four of the five handicap parking spaces in this area will be taken away during the project.
