During convocation, President Christensen will be challenging our student body to collaborate to create this year’s President’s Challenge, a Rube Goldberg Machine that will highlight Clarkson’s features.
The challenge gets further complex in that it must be completed in the next 6 weeks, as it will be showcased during Inauguration. It will be erected on the ice during the second intermission of the women’s hockey game on October 14th, where students will have 3 minutes to set up their creation, have it run and clear it off the ice!
While the students are going to be responsible for the design and creation, it is likely that they will need faculty support in a myriad of ways. If you are interested in helping the students complete this challenge, please sign up here.
