This May marked the return to our in-person Annual Technical Meeting, which is an opportunity for partners in industry and government to get a taste of the groundbreaking research we’re performing at CAMP, The Center for Advanced Materials Processing. This event is a highlight of our ongoing efforts to form industry partnerships and effect national and global change through scientific and engineering technologies. Annual Meeting – In Person! 

We were happy to see so many of you in person this May, when we held our 2022 Annual Technical Meeting! International Impact

From Potsdam, New York, to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Distinguished Professor Goodarz Ahmadi recently presented compelling work on the indoor transmission of COVID-19 as part of Abu Dhabi University’s Global Brown Bag Seminar Series. Winning Welding

When Professor Daryush Aidun and Fatemeh Hejripour PhD’19 wrote a paper that was published in the Welding Journal, they probably didn’t imagine they would receive an award from the American Welding Society. But that’s exactly what happened with their paper, Effects of Processing Parameters on Wire Arc Additive Manufactured Inconel® 718. READ MORE

Professor and Chair of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Elizabeth Podlaha-Murphy is the newly appointed treasurer for The Electrochemical Society (ECS) executive committee.
