The “B2B on the SEAway” reception is being hosted by the St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce, and the St. Lawrence County Industrial Agency for businesses, nonprofits and community leaders. Those attending the B2B reception aboard the ship will enjoy networking, appetizers and desserts, and beverages for cash.
The deck of the Nao Trinidad is certainly a unique place to have a reception: The ship is a replica of that commanded by Ferdinand Magellan in his voyage around the world. It is taking port in Ogdensburg on September 6th through 11th as part of “Old River Fest” – a new event designed to celebrate the maritime heritage of the St. Lawrence River and Ogdensburg, NY as a port city, past and present. The festival is coordinated by the St. Lawrence County Chamber and Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Ogdensburg and is sponsored by DeFelsko and America1 Realty.
