The Shipley Center for Innovation is inviting all Clarkson student, faculty, and alumni startup companies to apply for participation in the 2nd annual Clarkson Technology Showcase & Competition being held in Buffalo on October 26th. This year’s event will also feature a “promising tech pipeline” track for Clarkson Faculty and Students. This track will focus on research & technology that has significant commercial potential, but is not yet mature enough to form a startup company or license to an external company.
The 2022 Showcase will take place at the Buffalo Hyatt conference center from 4pm-8pm. We are once again holding this event on the heels of the New York State Innovation Summit which is taking place on October 25th and 26th in the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center, directly adjacent to the Hyatt. Participants and guests will have the opportunity to network with government officials, investors, alumni, and potential collaborators while enjoying complimentary hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. There is no cost to apply, no cost to attend, and those participants that are selected to present will be provided one hotel room on October 26th and up to $200 in travel reimbursement. This event is being sponsored by a NYS Innovation Hot Spot grant and the Shipley Center endowment fund.
