U.S. News & World Report Ranks Clarkson University’s Supply Chain Management Program #24 in the Nation and #1 in New York State

Clarkson University’s supply chain management program is once again in the company of some of the most elite universities in the country as U.S. News & World Report released their 2023 rankings of the best colleges this week. Overall, Clarkson University ranked in the top 130 institutions in the nation, with the supply chain management program ranked in the Top 25 in the country (tied with the University of California at Berkeley) and #1 in New York State. This is the 18th time that the supply chain management program has been ranked Top 25 in the nation by U.S. News. It is the highest-ranked program at Clarkson in the U.S. News rankings.

“Being recognized as the #1 Supply Chain Management program in the state of New York and Top 25 in the nation is no small feat. The U.S. News ranking is a reflection of our strong curriculum, our specialized approach to business education, our vast industry connections and alumni networks, and the resolute work of some of the top supply chain management scholars in the world,” said Dr. Diego Nocetti, Dean of the Reh School of Business. 

“We are very proud of our program’s national recognition over the past two decades and gratified that our students are sought after by highly respected global companies to not only navigate today’s challenges but serve as tomorrow’s leaders,” said Professor Farzad Mahmoodi, the Joel Goldschein ’57 Endowed Chair in Supply Chain Management and director of Clarkson’s supply chain management program. “It’s a strong endorsement of the quality of our faculty and the relevance of our curriculum.” 

Clarkson also offers a specialized Master of Science degree in Supply Chain Management. The online Master of Science in Supply Chain Management is an interdisciplinary program designed for professionals who strive to gain the advanced expertise needed to lead companies to world-class supply chain management status. It provides an integrated set of learning opportunities for those interested in becoming proficient in effectively managing complex supply chains. The program prepares graduates to be sourcing managers, operations managers, distribution managers, or directors of materials management.
