Dear Colleague,
I am excited to inform you that I will be leading Clarkson University’s United Way Campaign this year. We have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of many individuals in our communities, throughout St. Lawrence County!
Beginning Monday, October 17, 2022 and continuing through Friday, October 28, 2022, we will run our Clarkson Campaign. Payroll deductions will start with the first pay check in January and it is my hope that you will consider making your donation in this manner. To access the Clarkson University electronic pledge form, please click on the following link http://pledge.unitedway-nny.org/?c=39366. If you have never given to United Way, please consider giving $1 per paycheck. To all of our current donors, THANK YOU! We hope that you will continue to give and perhaps give a little more this year. If you prefer to make your donation all at once, you may use a credit card or check and the attached pledge form or go to https://www.unitedway-nny.org/ and click on DONATE.
The mission of the United Way: The United Way of Northern New York measurably improves the lives of all residents of Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence Counties through leadership, training and funding.
A key program that is integral to the United Way’s support for each community is its ALICE Program (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), which partners with every school district in Jefferson, Lewis, and St. Lawrence Counties, as well as Jefferson Community College and SUNY Canton. The ALICE Program allows the school districts, which have close relationships with residents in the school district, to provide immediate assistance to individuals and families who are in crisis.
Over the next 10 business days, I will share information on the different programs the United Way uses to support our local communities.
If you have any questions or need more detailed information, please e-mail me at dburke@clarkson.edu.
Regards,
David
