  • Position Summary: This Part-time Temporary position’s main role is to coordinate the daily implementation of grant program requirements and activities for an NSF Grant within the Institute of Sustainable Environment.
  • General Purpose: Set priorities, allocate tasks, and collaborate with project staff to meet program targets and milestones. Manage the change control process and act as the mid-level decision making authority

Postdoctoral Fellow (Potsdam, NY)

  • Position Summary: Dr. Simona Liguori, a faculty member in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Clarkson University, is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on a newly funded, Department of Energy (DOE)-sponsored project developing catalytic membrane reactors for clean hydrogen production from biomass via the water gas shift reaction. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with other members of the group, as well as effectively interface with external partners. The position is for two years and it is available immediately.
  • General Purpose: Experimental research that supports the goals and fulfills the requirements of an DOE supported research grant in the area of chemical engineering.
  • Minimum qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related fields – All Ph.D. requirements should be completed by the time work commences

Research Assistant Professor (Potsdam, NY)

  • Position Summary: The Center for Air and Aquatic Resources Engineering and Science is seeking two Research Assistant Professors in Environmental Chemistry (Environmental Chemists). Both positions will investigate the occurrence, treatment and fate of PFAS in environmental and industry related samples. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with other members of the group, as well as effectively interface with external partners. The positions are for one year with continuation possible pending funding. Both are available immediately.
  • General Purpose: Fundamental and applied research that supports the goals and fulfills the requirements of several projects examining PFAS presence and treatment.
  • Minimum qualifications Ph.D. in Chemistry or Environmental Engineering or related fields.
