CAMP CAMPing Day

CAMP is once again inviting new faculty, graduate students, and other members of the Clarkson University research community to attend the annual CAMP-ing days. During this two day event sessions will be on the thermal analysis of materials with a focus on Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA), Thermo-Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), and DIfferential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The event will take place on December 19th and 20th over morning and afternoon sessions with a discussion led by Hubert Bilan, Laboratory Manager, on how these methods are used in research and industry to characterize material behavior. The first day will feature an overview of each instrument and a case study of select materials. The second day is reserved for attendees to bring their own materials from their research projects to be analyzed. Attendees are encouraged to contact Hubert ahead of time to see how these methods might be applicable towards their projects.
