Associate Director of Financial Aid (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines:
This position is both a generalist and specialist position with supervisory responsibilities. As a
generalist, this position has undergraduate and graduate student caseload management
responsibilities. As a specialist, this position is responsible for the overall administration and
compliance of the Federal Direct Loan Program, PeopleSoft technical expertise as it relates to
federal loan processing, management of all aspects of the graduate federal loan awarding process,
supervision of the graduate Financial Aid Advisor, financial literacy, exit counseling, and the
graduate and loan sections of the website. Responsible for training of other financial aid staff, SAS
Specialists, and Graduate Coordinators as needed in order to achieve departmental objectives.
General Purpose:
This position works closely with the Director of Financial Aid and the entire financial aid team in all
areas of the financial aid assistance operation to develop and implement financial aid policies,
procedures, and initiatives, which support the goals and objectives of the University and ensure
compliance with federal, state, and University regulations. In addition to student caseload and
supervisory responsibilities, this position has special emphasis on the overall management and
compliance of all federal loan programs, federal loan awarding and compliance in the graduate
school, and all elements of financial literacy, entrance and exit counseling, and default
management.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years of progressive financial aid experience, 1-2 years supervisory experience preferably in a financial aid office, In-depth knowledge of federal financial aid programs and regulations, Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Facilities Services Position- Part Time (Schenectady, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines:
The position will provide the necessary daily servicing and
preventative maintenance for Clarkson University Capital Region Campus (“CRC”). It will
address the day to day needs of the campus and will work with University staff and
external repair and service technicians to assure the facility remains in optimal condition.
The position will also assist with the monitoring of safety equipment.
General Purpose:
The part-time facilities service position will provide basic facilities
maintenance and services for Clarkson University Capital Region Campus (“CRC”).
Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years general of
building services / maintenance experience.
