Fuzehub has announced the second round of their Manufacturing Grants; full applications are due on May 16th. These $50,000 grants are intended to create opportunities for public entities (not-for-profits) and private businesses to collaborate on projects that advance NYS’s manufacturing sector, create jobs, and/or provide other economic development benefits. Grant funding may be used to advance technological solutions in the following ways; proof of concept and/or prototype development, new product/process design for manufacturing, equipment purchases (must advance the goals outlined above), manufacturing scale-up, or other projects that advance manufacturing capabilities.
Due to increased interest in this grant program, and Clarkson’s limit of three applications per round, a new internal application and review process has been initiated. Internal applications are due on April 24th, at which point they will be reviewed and scored by the Strategies and Opportunities Working Group of the Research Advisory Committee. This process will be used to select the applicants invited to submit a full application.
