This scholarship is available exclusively to Clarkson University students majoring in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering Management.
AWARD AMOUNT: Up to $7,500
APPLICATION DUE DATE: Friday, April 28, 2023 – 4:30 p.m. (ET)
ELIGIBILITY
- Be majoring in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Engineering Management at Clarkson University.
- Be entering junior or senior year as of Fall 2023; a student who is selected in their junior year shall be eligible for scholarship renewal during the senior year, as long as all other eligibility criteria are met.
- Have a grade point average of 3.0 or better.
- Be interested in hot mix asphalt production, aggregate production and/or highway construction.
APPLICANT CHARACTERISTICS
- Good leadership skills.
- Participation in athletics and professional societies.
- Membership in Clarkson’s Associated General Contractors (AGC) Student Chapter.
- Participation on the Clarkson SPEED team that competes annually at the ASC competition.
- Have an interest in completing a summer internship with Barrett Paving Materials in their North region (Watertown, NY) site or at one of their office locations, nationwide.
