Faculty Opportunity – Sustainability Faculty Fellows

Teaching for the Future – Sustainability Faculty Fellowships
Do you already include some sustainability topics in your courses and want to to learn more?

Are you willing to help your peers expand their capacity to integrate sustainability into their classes?

The Institute for a Sustainable Environment seeks a diverse group of Clarkson faculty members to serve as Sustainability Faculty Fellows. These one-year, $6,000 fellowships will provide financial compensation and professional development opportunities to support growth in the Fellow’s capacity to teach for our future world and to serve as peer mentors for others in their school, department or across campus.

Embarking on the path of a sustainable future requires a profound transformation in how we think and act. Our students need the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes that empower them to contribute to a more sustainable and just world.  Transforming the education we provide will enable our students to make informed decisions and responsible actions for economic prosperity, resource equity, energy uses, and environmental health and concerns for a just society for present and future generations.
