Dr. Dey is Awarded the highly competitive Visiting Faculty Research Program (2023) grant by Air Force Research Laboratory

Dr. Soumyabrata Dey is awarded the 2023 summer visiting faculty research program (VFRP) grant sponsored by the air force research lab (AFRL). As part of the VFRP program, Dr. Dey will be working in the AFRL research facility in Rome, NY this summer. Dr. Dey’s collaborative research with AFRL will involve explainable reinforcement learning for the autonomous flying of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Dr. Dey is a faculty member at the Clarkson Computer Science Department. Dr. Dey’s research interests include machine learning, deep learning, sensor data analytics, and autonomous control of smart devices.
