We hope you are exploring the many ways to be engaged in the Clarkson community, including attending campus events and participating in student organizations. Joining a student organization is a great way to meet new people, explore your interests, and enhance your leadership skills. Knight Life provides a comprehensive list of Clarkson University student organizations. You can easily search organizations by category and make contact with representatives directly through the Knight Life website.
Unfortunately, there are several groups operating in the local community which were previously recognized by either Clarkson University or SUNY Potsdam. These organizations have committed severe or repeated violations of University policy or law that have posed a significant threat to student health and safety. Due to the heightened concern for students, it is against University policy to engage in recruitment or initiation activities with, become a member of, perpetuate, or otherwise engage in activities as an actual or prospective member of these groups. Students who violate this policy are subject to the disciplinary process as described in the Student Regulations, including but not limited to probation, suspension, or expulsion.
