Ignite’s Media Production Center and Media Mentors are excited to officially announce the Learn-To-Fly Drone Program for the fall semester!!
The first session will be held on Sunday, October 15 from 3 pm until 5 pm.
The Learn-To-Fly Drone Program’s goal is to educate members of the Clarkson community on the positive applications of drones, as well as the basics of flying these small aircraft. The 2-hour lessons will include the following three subsections:
1. Basics of Flying – drone safety, intro to drones, drone piloting via simulator
2. Improving Piloting Skills – pre-flight habits, drone instruction continued with DJI Mavic Mini
3. Advanced Skills – outdoor piloting, dynamic camera movement, cinematic filming
