Join the Black Student Union (BSU), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Black Leaders Advocating for Change (BLAC), with support from the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Office for Black Solidarity Day.
Black Solidarity Day was created by Activist, ambassador, and professor Dr. Carlos Russell in 1969. He was inspired by a play written by Douglas Turner Ward, “Day of Absence.” The day is meant to highlight the contributions of the Black community within society.
