Last week, graduate students from Dr. Jihoon Seo’s lab got the opportunity to attend the prestigious International Conference on Planarization/CMP Technology (ICPT 2023) at Japan.
CMP, one of the most important processes in the semiconductor devices manufacturing, has been developed and improved continuously year after year and is expanding in its applied area. ICPT as an international symposium for Planarization/CMP is a magnificent platform to have discussions on technologies including Fundamentals of CMP, Polishing Processes, Consumables, Equipment, Green Devices, Metrology, Cleaning, Defect Control etc.
Graduate students (Van Tuan Nguyen and Wafi Aziz) from Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department represented the Clarkson CMP group amidst 40 selected student presenters from around the world who participated in this year’s ICPT conference in Japan.
