Administrative Assistant-Counseling (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: This individual will provide a full range of services to support the efficient ad client-centered functioning of the Counseling Center as well as provide secondary support for the Student Health Center’s services. This individual will be the primary point of contact for Counseling Center requests for services, assist clinical staff with administrative tasks including the scheduling of routine and crisis appointments, work closely with the Director of Counseling to help ensure efficient functioning of the office, and assist in managing a range of projects. In this role, this individual must be able to address a range of duties and priorities, manage time in the context of a fast paced environment, and respond to phone a face to face concerns and requests. An ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and in a timely manner with staff, as well as with students in crisis is critical.

Minimum qualifications: 2 years’ experience providing receptionist or clerical support, or position with similar duties or skill requirements; strong written and verbal communication skill; comfort in using a range of computer software programs; strong time-management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects

Range: $16.50- 19.00 salary based on experience

Program Coordinator- Ignite (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  Assist the Director in the execution of the strategic plan for Clarkson Ignite, including supervision of a team of 20+ student team members. Ensure effective communication between departments, donors, corporate clients, and current and prospective students; ensure compliance with established university policies, procedures, and objectives. Plan and coordinate events relating to Clarkson Ignite and any associated center(s).

Minimum qualifications Associate’s Degree or at least 5 years experience required. 3 years in an office environment

Range: $19.00- $23.00 salary based on experience

Accounts Payable Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all facets of Accounts Payable processing within the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module. Timely and accurate processing of invoices, payment requests, employee reimbursements and student refunds is the primary focus of this position.

Minimum qualifications Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. In Lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Range: 16.50 to 19.50 salary based on experience

Finance and Budget Analyst / Assistant to the Vice President for Information Technology (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  To lead, plan, organize, direct, and review administrative and support functions as they relate to budgets and finance, which may include, but are not limited to the following: satellite support, computer repair services, OIT sales and services, student laptop programs, finances, budget analysis, billing, revenue collection, telecommunications, general services, and purchasing.

Minimum qualifications Associates Degree and 1-3 years of experience or five to seven years related experience in lieu of Associates Degree

Range: $50,000- $60,000 salary based on experience
