Several members of the education faculty published back-to-back books on Inquiry Learning. Catherine Snyder, Sherri Duan, Patricia Rand, and Richard Lasselle–along with adjunct faculty Sean O’Connell, Dan Mattoon, and Mary Eads–wrote Teaching with Inquiry: Increasing Student Engagement Across Disciplines (Rowman & Littlefield, 2023) and Student-centered Learning Model (Shanghai Educational Publishing House, 2023) based on inquiry research by Richard Suchman in the 1960s and curated by the authors into a multi-disciplinary teaching approach for secondary teachers.

Teaching with Inquiry: Increasing Student Engagement Across Disciplines was developed for the American market, while Student-centered Inquiry Learning Model was created specifically for the Chinese Ministry of Education, and translated by Dr. Sherri Duan.
