Position Summary Guidelines: The Campus Safety Officer is responsible for providing campus safety services to the university community, which includes enforcing university regulations, vehicle and traffic laws, local, state and federal laws. Providing emergency response on campus and protecting life and property within the Clarkson community. In addition, the Campus Safety Officer/ Staff engage in outreach and communication efforts to women and/or underrepresented student groups on campus around issues of alcohol consumption, sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and bias-related conduct.
Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma required. New York State driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the University.
Range: $16.00 based on experience

Research Accountant (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines: The Research Accountant shall be responsible for performing a variety of accounting activities associated with sponsored research in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the University’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements.
Minimum qualifications: Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
Range: $20.00- $26.40 based on experience

Accounts Payable Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for all facets of Accounts Payable processing within the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module. Timely and accurate processing of invoices, payment requests, employee reimbursements and student refunds is the primary focus of this position.
Minimum qualifications Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. In Lieu of a degree, 8 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Range: 16.50 to 16.84 salary based on experience

Accounts Payable Coordinator – Travel and Expense (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Coordinator – Travel and Expense is focused on internal review and processing of employee One Card and travel and expense submissions, while also supporting all Accounts Payable functions for the University utilizing the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module. Timely and accurate review of employee expense report submissions for compliance with University policies and processing related employee reimbursements is the primary focus of this position.
Minimum qualifications Associate’s degree from accredited College or University in accounting, finance or business administration or a related field of study, 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. In Lieu of a degree, 2-3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Range: 16.22- 16.50 salary based on experience
