University Events Director (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: Provide vision, solicit input, initiate, plan, direct/coordinate and execute the set-up of high-quality University-wide ceremonies and student recruitment events in close coordination with the Offices of the President, Marketing & External Relations, and Undergraduate Admissions. Collaborate extensively with faculty and staff providing academic and educational content consistent with the University mission and goals as well as communicating and implementing logistical needs across multiple departments and external vendors to facilitate successful events to meet standards and needs. This position will be required to reserve appropriate event spaces, ensure patron safety, and procure the required reports needed for documentation or required announcements pertaining to the events. This position will also need to be available and able to execute the events on various assigned weekends throughout the year independently with overnight travel to the Capital Region Campus in Albany, NY, as needed.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, with 3 to 5 years professional experience. Candidate will have had two or more years working in a public facing position serving a wide array of people from different backgrounds and ages in a professional setting.

Range: $60,000-$74,000 based on experience

Department of Physical Therapy: Chair and Program Director (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: The program director demonstrates the academic and professional qualifications and relevant experience in higher education requisite for providing effective leadership for the program, the program faculty, and the students.

Minimum qualifications: Physical therapist who holds (or eligible) an active, unrestricted PT license in New York; earned academic doctoral degree; holds or would be eligible for the rank of associate professor, professor, clinical associate professor, or clinical professor; minimum of six years of full-time higher education experience, with a minimum of three years of full-time experience as a core faculty member in a CAPTE accredited entry-level physical therapist education program.

Range: $120,000- $147,000 based on experience

Instructor/Assistant Director of Applied Projects and Instructional Support (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary Guidelines: The Assistant Director will manage the overall operations of recruiting/admissions processes, student mentoring and academic achievement support. In addition, the Assistant Director will manage all aspects of the applied practical work of graduate students which include support for the research, consulting and outreach activities of our program. In its capacity as the Assistant Director of Instructional Support, the employee will be called upon to execute various aspects of instructional support for the MSADS curriculum: recitation sessions, labs, etc.

Minimum qualifications: A Master’s degree in Applied Data Science or compatible field is required. At least two years of experience in designing, developing and executing data science technologies, solutions and methodologies. Two years of responsibility in instructional development, delivery and support. Management experience is required

Range: $65,000- $75,000 based on experience
