Center for PFAS and Cancer (CPAC) Joint Symposium
The CPAC at Georgetown University is hosting a joint symposium in collaboration with consortium institutions, including CDI/Hackensack Meridian Health, Clarkson University, Stevens Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, and Attegene Inc. The symposium is open to all members of the research and education community who are interested in learning about PFAS and cancer.

Symposium Objectives
The symposium aims to promote collaboration and connections among researchers, educators, partners, stakeholders, and communities within and beyond the Washington, DC, catchment area. The symposium addresses various topics, including PFAS-related cancer risks and mechanisms, detection and remediation of PFAS, PFAS biomarkers of exposure, and intervention and community engagement. The symposium also focuses on promoting strategies for prevention and improving community health, specifically emphasizing the impact of PFAS exposure on cancer.
