Director of the Clarkson Center for Complex Systems Science Erik Bollt, Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Chunlei Liang, Associate Professor of Engineering & Management Golshan Madraki, and Research Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Jeremie Fish all serve as co-principal investigators on the grant award.

This grant will allow Clarkson University and the Clarkson Center for Complex Systems Science (C3S2) to offer 32 travel awards to students, postdoctoral researchers and early career faculty and researchers.

NERCCS-7 will follow the success of previous NERCCS conferences to promote the emerging venue of interdisciplinary scholarly exchange for complex systems researchers in the Northeast U.S. region and beyond.

The conference will provide participants with the opportunities to share their research outcomes through presentations and onsite posters, while they network with their peers to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and the growth of the research community.

NERCCS-7 will also focus on facilitating the professional growth of early career faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students in the region who will play a leading role in the field of complex systems science, and applications to engineering, in the coming years.
