Clarkson University Graduate Student Association (CUGSA) and the Graduate School are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Clarkson University Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition. This esteemed event invites current master’s and doctoral students from all disciplines to present their research work, conducted at Clarkson University, to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes.

Objectives
The 3MT® competition, initiated by the University of Queensland in 2008, aims to cultivate students’ academic, presentation, and research communication skills. It provides a platform for students to present their research work and its significance in an engaging and concise manner.
Eligibility
Participation is open to all currently enrolled master’s and doctoral students across various disciplines at Clarkson University. It is imperative that the research presented is conducted at Clarkson University.
Awards
Champion: Crest, Certificate, and a prize of $1,000
First Runner-up: Crest, Certificate, and a prize of $500
Second Runner-up: Crest, Certificate, and a prize of $250
And other consolation awards
