Children of our faculty, staff, students and alumni and other family members are welcome to join the Solar Eclipse celebrations on the Student Center Lawn on Monday, April 8 from 1pm to 5pm.
There will be educational activities and exhibit tables supported by student organizations like the Rocketry Club and Physics Department among many others, and we will have games like a supervised bouncy house that will have age suitable shifts, coloring stations and more.
If you need safety glasses, please complete this form which also includes information about meals. Children 15 and under will be half price on the lawn buffet food. We suggest bringing lawn chairs / blankets to sit on and stay warm with the temps anticipated to be in the high 50s. It is ok to bring your own snacks, but please no alcoholic beverages.
Communications have gone to all supervisors regarding the day to respond to questions and accommodating work responsibilities with children on campus that day, and we can also field them at community@clarkson.edu. We hope to CU there!
