Changes to Health & Dental Benefits
Based on the results of the Healthcare Questionnaire and the recommendations of the Reimagining Clarkson Committee to increase payroll deductions for benefits to match inflation (see page 48 of the report), there have been several updates to the Medical plan. The changes will provide employees and their families with set costs for services typically used the most.
Medical Plan
- Adding co-pay instead of co-insurance for the following services:
- Primary Care, Specialist Care, Urgent Care and Emergency
- Deductible increases (In-Network, Out-Of-Network)
- Out-Of-Pocket Maximum increases (In-Network)
- Employee premium increase
- Changing from 6 premium tiers to 5
Dental Plan
- ‘New’ buyup option with orthodontics
- Traditional plan still available
- Employee premium increase
Open enrollment is here! Monday April 22, 2024 thru May 2, 2024.
- Make changes or update benefit elections; effective date July 1, 2024.
- Re-elect your Medical or Dependant Flexible Spending Account; required annually.
Please plan on attending one or more benefit sessions for a refresher of available benefits, changes within the medical plan and a ‘new’ dental option.

- Friday, April 26th 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

- Thursday, May 2nd 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
