Commencement 2024!
Please RSVP for this year’s Commencement.
The 2024 Graduate and Undergraduate Commencement ceremonies will both be held in Cheel Arena on Thursday, May 9 at 6p.m. (Graduate) and Saturday, May 11 at 2:30p.m. (Undergraduate).

Thursday, May 9- Graduate Ceremony
5:50 p.m. Platform party and Hooding advisors gather in the lower level of Cheel in the hallway
5:55 p.m. Platform Party and advisors process onto the stage
6 p.m. Commencement Ceremony (Master’s & PhD’s) begins
Regalia is required for all of the Platform party and only the hooding advisors.
If you are attending the Graduate ceremony, but are not part of the platform party or an advisor hooding, you will not be required to wear regalia. Business/Smart Business Casual attire is recommended.
Saturday, May 11-Undergraduate Ceremony
1:45 p.m. Faculty assemble on the sidewalk closer to Cheel for procession. If the weather is inclement, faculty will assemble in the lower locker room level in the Cheel Hallway (watch for announcements that day if weather in question)
2:05 p.m. Student, Faculty and Stage Party Procession begins moving
2:30 p.m. Commencement Ceremony begins
Immediately after- Reception Main Street
Regalia is required for all of the Platform party and all faculty being seated together for the Undergraduate ceremony. (All seating is reserved.)
