Pre-Orientation and Springboard Sign Ups Are Live!

Welcome to Clarkson!

We know you’ve filled out this form before, but we’ve updated our options for this year and are requesting you fill it out again!

Each summer, we offer a number of pre-orientation experiences and academic readiness options to make your transition to Clarkson both smooth and fun. Check out this year’s offerings and if interested, sign up to participate! Keep in mind that some experiences do fill up quickly, and most are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-Orientation Experiences
Pre-Orientation experiences are an early arrival program that students who are not a part of a fall varsity sport, Honors, Ignite Scholars, ROTC program or TCS may enroll in. The experiences start on either Monday, August 21st, or Tuesday, August 22nd, based on your selection. The benefits of participating in a Pre-Orientation experience include getting to know other Clarkson students before orientation and classes start, getting comfortable with campus, and gaining confidence in yourself as you prepare for the start of classes.

This year’s options are:

  • Clarkson University Outing Club (CUOC) – $260; open to all students
  • Clarkson University Student Association (CUSA) – $310; open to all students
  • Clarkson Rod and Gun Club (CRAG) – $360; open to all students
  • High Dive, Ultimate Frisbee – $295; open to all students
  • Pep Band – $200; open to all students
  • Society of Women Engineers (SWE) – $160; open to students who identify as women in any area of study
