Clarkson University employees and students have several options for meeting University business and/or educational transportation needs. Options include the use of a Clarkson University fleet vehicle, the use of a rental vehicle, or the use of one’s personal vehicle. No matter which option is selected, drivers are required to be approved by the University and to adhere to Clarkson’s Vehicle Usage Policy. Approved Clarkson University drivers are provided with automobile insurance protection while traveling for University and/or educational business. Examples of University business include training off-campus, attending a conference, participating in a University outreach activity, etc.
