Assistant Director of Donor Experience (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  To engage and cultivate donors, ensure donors experience high-quality interactions with the University that foster long-term engagement and investment, and ultimately retain donors with sustained if not increased giving all while enhancing donors’ relationship with Clarkson.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Three years of experience in donor relations, community relations or related field and event planning required.

Assistant Vice President of International and Graduate Enrollment (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: The temporary position (1 year) for the Assistant Vice President of International and Graduate Enrollment (AVP) will report to and work closely with the VP of Enrollment to develop and implement admission goals and strategies. The AVP will maintain primary responsibility for all University goals related to the recruitment of students and providing leadership in the Office of Enrollment. The AVP will design, implement and administer appropriate procedures to make the transition of these students to Clarkson as seamless as possible. The AVP will supervise, train and manage a goal-oriented admissions team. Work to establish professional goals and key performance indicators for staff and perform performance reviews. Work closely with each educational department as well as financial aid to ensure the admission process runs smoothly.

Minimum Qualifications: A masters required; a valid driver’s license is required. This position requires at least 4 years of experience as a chief enrollment officer with a minimum of 10 years of admission experience.

Range: $80,000-$112,000 based on experience

Senior Groundskeeper (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary:  This is a highly customer service oriented position in which employees should strive to exceed customer expectations. Participate in grounds maintenance and equipment operation tasks to ensure the perpetual upkeep of the University grounds, drives, walks, athletic fields and parking areas and provide technical guidance and assistance to student workers.

Research Associate (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: This position will be responsible for working on the planarization of sophisticated interconnect structures, which are crucial for improving the performance and reliability of integrated circuits. In addition, the post-doctoral research will focus on the development and optimization of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) and post-CMP cleaning techniques.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D., in Chemical, Mechanical, and Materials engineering is required.

Position Summary: This position works closely with the Director of Financial Aid and the entire financial aid team in all areas of the financial aid assistance operation to develop and implement financial aid policies, procedures, and initiatives which support the goals and objectives of the university and ensure compliance with federal, state and university regulations. In addition to student caseload

responsibilities, this position has special emphasis on financial aid application processing, federal and school selected verification, c-code resolution, and the administration of alternative education loans.

Associate /Director Regional Admission (Greater NYC Area)

Position Summary: The Regional Director of Admission (RDA) will report to and work closely with the Assistant VP of Enrollment to develop and implement admission goals and strategies. The RDA will maintain primary responsibility for all University goals related to the recruitment of students and providing regional oversight for the Office of Enrollment. The RDA will design, implement and administer appropriate procedures to make the transition of these students to Clarkson as seamless as possible. The RDA is responsible for contributing to the overall recruiting efforts of the University, including planning and implementing procedures and projects for attracting and matriculating a diverse and talented new-student class. The Associate Director travels at least 12-16 weeks throughout the recruiting cycle.

Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree required. 4-6 years’ experience in admissions recruiting, sales, or customer service. A valid driver’s license is required.

Range: $62,000-$75,000 based on experience
