The Edward Delaney Scholarship facilitates the professional growth and development of early-career institutional research professionals by providing assistance to attend the AIR Forum, which was held in Denver from May 27 to 31. Liu attended the conference with Director of Institutional Research Jasmine Johnson.

“I am deeply grateful for this opportunity. It was truly a privilege to learn about the incredible work of my colleagues and to meet them in person,” Liu said. “This experience has been profoundly meaningful to me.”

The benefactor of the award, Edward Delaney, served as AIR President from 1992–1993, AIR Forum Chair for the 1990 AIR Forum, and as an NCES/AIR Senior Fellow. One scholarship in the amount of $1,000 may be awarded to support costs associated with attending the AIR Forum.
