Organized by the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce and its members, including Clarkson, we hope that you, your family, and friends will all find something you enjoy at the festival.
The event features live music every hour on the Main Stage on Market Street with additional music in the Ives Park Gazebo. Summerfest is the time of year when area merchants put their best foot (and merchandise) forward to offer spectacular sales. As area businesses roll their merchandise out onto the sidewalks, bargains are found in virtually every plaza, nook, and cranny of Potsdam.
Each year the Chamber strives to offer family oriented entertainment, and the festival continues to grow, evolve, and mirror many aspects of our community life. The three day event includes: a Beer Wine and Cider Tent, Antique and Classic Car Show, Fall Island Kids Fiesta, Laser Tag, Fireworks, Ice Cream Social, Pub Crawl, a Potsdam Fire Department Run to the River, a Vendor Village and more.
Several Clarkson groups will have exhibitor booths and other roles during this weekend. There are also volunteer assignments to make this a success for our community. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer or connecting with others running a booth, please email community@clarkson.edu and we’ll help give you access to see the different ways and hours of the day to get involved.
