Mental Health First Aid from the National Council For Mental Wellbeing

It states that MHFA helps individuals identify others with mental health concerns with the use of the universal MHFA action plan called ALGEE. The flier lists the next two upcoming workshops: August 22 (9 am-4:30 pm), or October 15 (9 am-4:30 pm).

Join over 400 students, staff and faculty at Clarkson and become Mental Health First Aid Certified! The course is designed to teach individuals to apply the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE) to individuals who are struggling with mental wellness concerns and to offer appropriate support and referrals to outside resources.

As research shows 1 in 5 University students are affected with anxiety and depression(The Conversation via the American College Health Association) we are encouraging more individuals belonging to this campus to sign up for one of our upcoming workshops.

Our Fall workshops are: August 22 (9am-4:30pm) or October 15th (9am-4:30pm).
