Clarkson Awarded $20,000 by Air Force Office of Scientific Research for Supporting International Symposium on Computational Aerodynamics.

The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) just awarded $20,000 to Clarkson University for supporting an international symposium on computational aerodynamics.

Headshot, Brian Helenbrook

The symposium, titled “Emerging Trends in Computational Fluid Dynamics: Towards Industrial Applications, will be held on Stanford University’s Redwood City campus from December 5th to 7th, 2024.  The principal investigators of this AFOSR conference grant, with award number FA9550-24-1-0195, are Drs. Chunlei Liang and Brian Helenbrook.

This special symposium is organized in honor of Professor Antony Jameson’s 90th birthday and in celebration of the 60th birthdays of Professors Chongam Kim and ZJ Wang. This event will bring together a diverse group of distinguished academics and promising early-career researchers who have made significant contributions to the advancement of computational aerodynamics.
