Position Summary: Provides application technical support for the development, enhancement, customization and maintenance of Administrative Systems at Clarkson University. Work activities require competency in SQR, SQL scripting, PeopleSoft XML Publisher, PeopleSoft Application Engine, PeopleSoft Application Designer, PeopleCode programming language, and analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and address technical issues. Post-Doctoral Researcher (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is seeking one Postdoctoral Researcher. This position will be part of several projects involving the use of on non-thermal plasma to treat PFAS contaminated water. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment with other members of the group, as well as effectively interface with external partners.
Minimum qualifications Ph.D. in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or related fields. i) Three years’ experience using non-thermal plasma to treat PFAS containing water; ii) Demonstrated experience overseeing research projects, and iii) Demonstrated experience preparing manuscripts and assisting with sponsor required reports.

IT Support Specialist I (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines: Acts as the “first line of support” for the entire Clarkson University Community. This person will reside at the Helpdesk counter (currently located on the 2nd Floor, ERC) and serves as the primary point of contact for walk-up and phone call inquiries to the University’s OIT Helpdesk. Provides first-tier support for telephone, media, and computer technology issues within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) organization. Escalates issues as needed to appropriate OIT personnel and delegates all other issues to the appropriate department or team.

Maintenance Mechanic HVACR (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary Guidelines: This is a highly customer service oriented position in which employees should strive to exceed customer expectations. Performs at a journeyman level to install, modify, maintain, service, and repair of all types of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems and equipment, and related control systems and equipment in accordance with blueprints, specifications, established practices and pertinent state and local code.

Safety Manager (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: This position is responsible for developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, and evaluating practices and facilities to ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local government regulations and Clarkson University safety standards. They conduct safety trainings, monitor compliance, investigate accidents, and provide recommendations for improvement. They also communicate guidelines to employees, report on health and safety issues, and develop relevant policies to maintain a safe workplace. Their focus is on promoting occupational health and safety and minimizing risks for employees. The position is highly customer service oriented, self-motivated, and operates with minimal oversight.
Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Area Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)
Position Summary: As a member of a comprehensive the Residence Life team, primary responsibilities include: Live in staff member overseeing residence halls and program development for upperclassmen housing. Duties include:
- To provide leadership and supervision of Resident Advisors;
- Ensure development of community that promotes health and safety of students;
- Serve as the primary on-call staff member for student problems or emergencies;
- Enforce housing regulations and administer the student conduct system;
- Assist students in the transition out of Clarkson, and ensure that the needs of all residents, including those of minorities and special interest groups, are addressed; liaise with University Residence Life staff and residence hall custodial staff

Position Summary: A successful assistant coach at Clarkson University will assist the head coach in each of the following areas in relation to their sport: recruiting, teaching/coaching, counseling, marketing, alumni relations, fund raising, and sport administration.
