On Wednesday, September 18, a portion of the upper Cheel parking lot will be closed to faculty, staff, and students due to the Career Fair taking place in Cheel Arena. This space will be reserved for Career Fair representative parking. The closed section will include the four rows closest to the Price Hall complex, outlined in red in the below image. Parking in the remainder of the lot will be open as usual.
Starting on the morning of 9/18 and continuing through the end of the day Thursday, 9/19, Campus Safety and Security Officers will block off the above parking area and will be actively enforcing parking in this area throughout the day. We ask those who normally utilize this portion of the lot to please plan ahead and make alternative arrangements for parking. Please refer to the parking map here for alternate parking locations. We recognize the inconvenience this may cause, and therefore we are temporarily lifting our normal parking lot restrictions for these days only. Service areas, fire lanes, accessible spaces, and vehicles otherwise creating any hazard will be subject to normal parking enforcement.
