Army ROTC Rappel Lab

Fall 2024 Rappel Lab Flyer. The flyer invites participants to join an event for ‘Rappelling & Burgers’ on September 19, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The location is the Rappel Tower, located behind the Water Tower. Attendees will learn how to tie their own harness using rope and a carabiner. The flyer contains four photos: 1. The first photo shows a person wearing a helmet, harness, and gloves, rappelling down a tall tower using a rope. The person is in mid-air, demonstrating a controlled descent. 2. The second photo focuses on a close-up of a rope and carabiner being attached to a harness, showcasing the equipment used during rappelling. 3. The third photo depicts a group of people standing at the base of the tower, some watching and others preparing for their turn, fostering a sense of teamwork and camaraderie. 4. The fourth photo shows a Cadet rappelling down the tower with helmet and another Cadet belaying the rope on the ground.
