Position Summary: The courses to be covered include Quality Management and Lean Enterprise, Process Engineering Design, A.K.A., the E&M Capstone Engineering Design, and other supply chain or operations management courses that may be offered at the Reh School. Assistant Professor- Orthopedic Physical Therapy (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: 60% of the workload is teaching across three trimesters. This is an 10- month position. Teach MSK and orthopedics to Physical Therapy students. Coordinate with other anatomy instructors to maintain the clinical lab and other teaching resources. Supervise student research projects. Advise students. Participate in all departmental activities and service duties, including departmental meetings, recruitment activities, departmental outreach events. Contribute to course and programmatic outcomes assessment and continuous curricular improvement.

Minimum qualifications:

• Possess a PT degree and an academic doctoral degree (PhD, DSc, DHS, EdD) or a DPT degree and an APTA board certified clinical specialization.
• Be eligible for New York state PT licensure. Other professional licensures/academic degrees may be eligible for a DPT core faculty position.
• Demonstrate expertise in orthopedics.

Assistant Paramedic Instructor/Clinical Coordinator (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary: Within the Clarkson EMS program, provide instruction and support to faculty, staff, and students for the purposes of training and educating basic, intermediate and advanced-level emergency medicine courses (i.e., BLS, ACLS, AMLS, PALS, PEPP, PHTLS). Instruction and support includes but is not limited to: the design, development, selection, adaption, maintenance, and knowledge of current classroom/online assessment, curriculum and presentation for all programmatic-related elements.

Minimum qualifications:

Experience requirement:

  • Minimum one (1) year experience performing direct patient care Certified Paramedic or Registered Nurse (critical care nursing experience preferred).
  • Previous experience providing student instruction, adult medical teaching/training, or serving as a preceptor within a clinical position.
  • Current knowledge of emergency medicine standards of care, literature, and current practices.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, conduct follow-up and multi-task within a changing environment, under minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with patients/families, professional health care staff, and interdisciplinary team members as demonstrated through written and verbal communications/interactions.
  • Working knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Office.

Senior Implementation and Integration Specialist (Remote/Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary The Senior Implementation and Integration Specialist will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of major software implementations and data integration initiatives across the University’s enterprise systems, including Slate, PeopleSoft, and others. Instructional Designer I (Potsdam, NY/ Remote)

Position Summary: Clarkson University invites applications for an Instructional Designer I (ID) to join the Teaching & Learning Corner team in the Office of Information Technology. This position provides expertise to faculty in course design and creation, incorporating best practices in pedagogy, methodology, use of digital content, and course outcomes. The ID offers direct technical support to faculty, staff, and students utilizing various technologies in face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. Professional development is encouraged and supported. The ID will maintain expertise on supported digital technologies, including Moodle, integrated digital tools, and communication tools. A successful candidate will be able to work on a highly collaborative technical team to provide training and documentation to the University community. Research Associate (Potsdam, NY)

Position Summary :This position will be responsible for working on the planarization of sophisticated interconnect structures, which are crucial for improving the performance and reliability of integrated circuits. In addition, the post-doctoral research will focus on the development and optimization of chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) and post-CMP cleaning techniques. This is a part time position.
