After being on campus for just over a month, I’ve noticed a remarkable shift towards a more positive atmosphere at Clarkson, which is truly encouraging from a student’s perspective.
Creating positivity has always been a personal goal of mine, and I’ve witnessed the genuine care that our faculty and staff have for the students. To channel this passion, I’ve teamed up with Ignite and Campus Safety to launch the Golden Ticket initiative. The Golden Ticket rewards students for contributing positively to our school community—whether it’s helping someone find a classroom or holding the door for others. Students can enter a monthly raffle with their tickets for a chance to win a bookstore gift card or have a campus parking ticket waived.
If you’d like to join in and recognize students, please fill out this form, and I’ll provide you with tickets to distribute. To maintain fairness, please only give tickets to students who don’t work or are not regularly involved with your group or department. When you hand out a Golden Ticket, kindly encourage the student to drop off the perforated portion at Campus Safety.
I’m excited about this Positivity Project and look forward to collaborating with you all! Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Best regards,
Robert Davis (davisrj@clarkson.edu)
