Event: Career & Accessibility ~ Strategies for Success, a Faculty Seminar & Faculty-Student Dialogue.
Students, faculty & staff are invited to a conversation about “Career & Accessibility ~ Strategies for Success”. This first of a 3-part conversation & workshop series is for aspiring and current professionals from SUNY Potsdam, Clarkson University, SUNY Canton, and St. Lawrence University interested in gaining skills and tools for embedding accessibility into their classrooms and workplaces.
When: Wednesday, October 9, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

Light lunch provided. Registration Required. Bus transportation to and from SUNY Potsdam Campus is available.
In this 90-minute interactive session, participants will:
· Explore tools and strategies for how to embed accessibility into their learning, instruction & career preparation.
· Advance their accessibility skill set by identifying barriers & improving access in learning and workplace settings.
· Gain confidence towards acting on accessibility.
Facilitators Karen Caldwell and Laura Perry help others to embed accessibility into their professional practices as they aim to create more inclusive experiences.
