Honorary National Mathematics society Pi Mu Epsilon Induction Ceremony

The Pi Mu Epsilon (PME) New York Omicron Chapter at Clarkson University recently held a successful induction ceremony and officer election meeting! Congratulations to all new members and newly elected officers.

Pi Mu Epsilon is a national honorary society dedicated to promoting and recognizing excellence in mathematics. Our Clarkson chapter, New York Omicron, welcomed new members in a formal induction ceremony and conducted officer elections for the coming year.

To be eligible for PME membership in the New York Omicron Chapter, students must be full-time, have completed (or be enrolled in) at least two years of college-level mathematics, and meet specific GPA requirements in mathematics and overall courses based on academic standing.

Fall 2025 New Inductees:

Newly Elected Officers:

  • President: Emelyn Sullivan (Applied Mathematics and Statistics & Engineering Management, ’25) led the induction ceremony.

  • Treasurer: Myranda Collette (Mathematical Economics, ’25).
  • Secretary: Ayden Rollins (Computer Engineering, ’25).
